FALSE PROMISES AND POOR SERVICE

I switched to DirecTV in September 2023, at this time I was offered a $200 gift card (cause who doesn't like free money). Ha - that was a joke. I never received an email notification nor gift card, even after calling 3 times. At work they call me the "Receipts Lady" because I document EVERYTHING. Needless to say I have documentation for each time I've called. Every time I've spoken to someone I get a different time limit on when I can expect this "reward" and it's increased in the amount. That's easy to do since you're never going to receive anything from them except false promises and poor service. I can't wait until this contract is up. This is one of the worst decisions I've ever made, along with the first marriage. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I CAN BLOW THIS JOINT!!!!!!!!!

Did the order confirmation list the gift card in the first place? Was this a offer from a 3rd party Authorized Retailer (such as ordering in a store)?

If you have documentation showing you were to get the gift card, and it did not specify you had to follow a redemption process, then I would consider a BBB complaint as escalates the issue higher.

Otherwise, if this post was just to announce your departure, needless to say you call DirecTV to do so. This is a public forum so we can provide help and guidance, but have no access to your account.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I have the documentation that came from DirecTV. I will definitely contact the BBB. Thank you for your advice.
