Early termination issues

I terminated my DirectTv account early and paid $340 as an early termination fee. I need a receipt for this transaction. I looked at my account online, no mention of this charge. Contacted DTV and spoke to a rep + a supervisor - both told me “we see the charge but can’t send you a receipt.” Strange, huh? Called next day, same thing. Started with a rep, then a supervisor who told me they can’t send me a receipt. I even suggested true a photo, text me a screenshot -and was told no. Why is this? It’s 2025 and you’re a “tech” company, can’t send a receipt by email? Really? I see where you ducked it out of checking - how about what all other merchants do: provide a receipt, along with a reason for the charge. Such a receipt keeps Everyone accountable. Why is it that two DTV reps and 2 DTV supervisors. No wonder you guys have a 1.2 rating on social media sites. I’d hate to give you another 1.0

The way this works is when you cancel DirecTV sends you the final bill including the Early Cancellation Fee (ECF). The following month you get a courtesy statement showing payment received, ideally reflecting payment in full (unless there was any non-return fees or unbilled PPVs discovered upon equipment return), for your records.

DirecTV's option is not individual receipts, but a reprint of the bill as produced or a billing/transaction record for a period of time. A manual email isn't permitted as they are restricted to internal communication for the privacy and security of accounts.
