Download tv shows on my dvr to iPad to watch offline
I am going out of town and will have no internet and tv available and want to continue binge watching my dvr recordings of NCIS am I able to somehow add some to my iPad?

Unfortunately, no. The newer app has a bug that keeps customers from doing exactly that. If you somehow have the older app called ‘DIRECTV for iPads’ or something like that, I believe this is still possible. But , you must have receiver model HR44 or above and you must download the recordings in your home network where the iPad is connected to the same internet as your Genie HD DVR. Recordings expire after 30 days.
