DirecTV/Asurion coverage on electronics is a sham

I have been paying $25/month for years for coverage on my electronics since I am a DirectTV subscriber.  I have been trying for days to file a claim.  The website does not work (it requires a code be sent to my phone but the code never comes).  When I call customer service, they say that a different department handles DirecTV and they offer to transfer me.  When I ask for that phone number, it is the exact same number I called to reach that representative.  I tried calling 5 times to see if I could ever get a person to help me and the answer is that not one person was able to help.  Please don't waste your money.  CANCEL YOUR SERVICE PLAN SINCE IT IS A SHAM.  You will never get anything for the hundreds of dollars you spend.

Thank you very much for providing the correct number to call.  It would be very helpful if you trained your staff so that they know where to send DirecTV customers.  Five out of five customer service reps did not know where to send me.

Yes, that page needs an updated phone number.  When you hit "chat", which you have to do because the website login doesn't work, then it gives you an incorrect phone number.  Try it yourself and see.  Thank you for looking into this.
