DIRECTV Visa® Reward Card

Requirements:

  • Installation and activation of new DIRECTV service.
    • Not migrating from U-verse or other DIRECTV video services. 
  • Maintain active service throughout the reward fulfillment process.
    • DIRECTV via Internet must be installed and remain active for 90 days to qualify.
  • Must subscribe to DIRECTV® ENTERTAINMENT Package and above.
  • For the Switcher Reward Card offer, supply a bill from your previous TV provider from within the last six months. (To be uploaded during the redemption process).
    • Last name or address on your previous provider's bill, and DIRECTV service must match.

Redemption Process:

 

You’ll be sent a Reward Notification email within six weeks for DIRECTV via Satellite or 90 days for DIRECTV via Internet. You can redeem your reward after you’ve received the notification email.

  • To view redemption status, claim your reward, bill upload and card activation, visit DIRECTV Reward Center - Home Page.
    • See the FAQ section for helpful answers to the most common questions.
  • Reward cards must be claimed within 75 days of the date the notification email is sent.
  • The physical cards are sent by mail within 3 weeks of redemption.

I hsve tried to follow-up on the reward card haven't received it yet.

Ok now I'll wait gor the letter that let me no that I will be getting this reward card

I activated DIRECTV Via Internet 103 days ago, and met all eligibility requirements listed above, but I have received no Reward Notification email to claim my $200 Switcher Reward card.

The Reward Center informed me that DIRECTV failed to send my reward to Group O, so they are unable to send my Reward Notification email. The Reward Center keeps referring me back to DIRECTV, and DIRECTV keeps referring me back to the Reward Center. No one is able to help.

This issue appears to be commonplace judging by many threads on these forums.

I called on 09/11/2023 to cancel my Directv service. I was going to go with Youtube since I wanted NFL Sunday Ticket. They talked me out of it by lowering my programming package to a cheaper version, and offering me a $200 rewards card to offset the cost of paying the $400 to youtube for the NFL package. I agreed. I have yet to see a rewards card. I spent over an hour on the phone today trying to figure this out and now I'm basically being called a liar and there was never such promotion. I then asked if all calls are recorded. They said, Yes. I then asked them to listen to the call. Their answer? They don't have the ability to listen to the call. This is such a joke.

I've lost all respect for DTV. It and its employees all lie. Been trying to get my $200 rewards card and now they say I waited too long while I've been calling for months. DON'T FALL FOR IT.
