Delete inactive receivers from app?

How do you delete inactive receivers from app?

Every time I use the Directv app on my iPhone to record or look at my play list, it tries to use one of my old inactive receivers instead of my new Genie 2.

I still can not figure out how to delete inactive receivers that I no longer have. However, I did solve the problem by going to settings, preferences, Quick Record, and choosing the new Genie 2 Server. Now when I try to record it shows the new Genie 2 instead of an old inactive receiver. Hope this helps!

Is that inactive receiver still showing up under ‘Manage my Equipment’ online at DIRECTV.com? What was the old inactive receiver’s specific model? Did you return it to DIRECTV or simply don’t use it? Perhaps you need to call DIRECTV and deactivate the inactive box. This will require returning it to a participating FedEx or UPS location with the account number, and it is always a wise idea to keep the shipping receipt for awhile to avoid the non-retuned equipment fee by DIRECTV.

All 5 old receivers still show on Directv.com, as well as my new Genie 2. Directv had a tech come to my house to install the Genie 2 system as well as disconnect and remove the old receivers. He also took the old receivers away with him. I have previously called Directv to remove those old inactive receivers from my account, but nothing happened and they are still there and still on the app.

It really does not bother me that the inactive receivers are still listed as I now have the Quick Record using the Genie 2. Previously, it used one of the inactives and I always had to go in and choose the Genie 2.

I am not being charged for the inactive receivers, but I still have to pay for each TV access fee.

BTW, I have just spoken with Directv about removing the inactive receivers from the app and they said they are aware and they are working on fixing that in the app, but cannot do it yet.

Instead of a dvr at each TV, there is a receiver at each TV that receive from the Genie 2 that is being used. DIRECTV told me today that a $7 access fee has to be paid for each TV whether there is a DVR or a Genie receiver there.

Thanks for clarifying that they are clients, not receivers.
