Were you under contract with them and canceled your service in the 1st month of service? That is the only reason I can think of to be charged that much. When you sign up for Directv Sat Service you are under a 2-year contract and if you cancel their service you have to pay the cancelation fee which is $20 a month for the remainder of your contract with them. Your best bet for help would be to call the customer service number at the bottom of my response or reach out to Directv Customer Service through Twitter, Reddit, or Instagram they respond much faster and are much more knowledgeable.
