Care code 600

This is the DTV SAT forum try the streaming forum.

Thank you. I understand that but I’m wondering if anyone on either forum can tell me how/who the two services are communicating and causing my problem and what the fix is.

AFAIK that is not a DTV SAT code.

Don’t know what your reference AFAIK is. My question : why am I getting a Sat code 600 on my stream login attempt. I used to have a Sat acct. it’s like my 2 accounts somehow got linked and that’s causing my problem and what is the solution.

Hi George, we are having the same problem. We don't have satellite, we have streaming.

We turned on the TV to watch football and had a black screen. Everything else on the firestick works. We rebooted TV, firestick, and reinstalled the DirecTV app. Logging in again, we get the Care Code 600 on log in. That said, the iPad still works fine with DirecTV so it's not an account problem.

Why in the world are we getting an error related to satellite when we're streaming? I can't find any info on what this means...

OK, just to help others — we just called support. Apparently this is now a "known issue" in the database. They'll be looking into it. And it will be fixed by Wednesday. It is not a satellite problem. Cheers!
