You’ll need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and tell the robot ‘sign-in help’ and/or ‘reset password’. An agent will be able to help you activate your account again and get it up and running. Sometimes, the accounts are disabled after unusual activity, too many failed password attempts, etc.

Care codes are DirecTV satellite service errors. Are you a previous DirecTV Satellite subscriber? Are you using the same credentials as your DirecTV Satellite service? You need to use a different credential (email/password). This is a known issue with the DirecTV Stream service.

Over three weeks ago I began getting this error code when trying to login to my email via the web but since I was still able to get email from phone app and desktop program I just gave up on using the web site. Today I found out I was also locked of DTV Stream on my computer with the same error code so what I did was to go the forgot password route but instead of selecting a new password I entered my current one and expected it to say I could not use it but it worked. I now have access via web for  both email and DTV Stream.

I can't log in to my account.  Care code 201.  How can I fix this?

Which service, DirecTV satellite or DirecTV Stream?

Care codes, as stated by bcbsncjlj, are associated with DIRECTV satellite. I’ll be moving the post over to the satellite side to avoid any confusion.

To fix this issue, you’d need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say ‘sign-in help’ to the robot. The instructions I gave for this in my first response are still valid.

If that doesn’t work, you can try logging in on a different device, turning off VPNs, antivirus, ad-blockers, and other firewalls, etc.
