Cancel Service

I called DIRECTV twice in the past 2 months trying to cancel my service and it still did not get cancelled and I was charged $250/month. When I called a third time they told me they had no record/notes of me calling in. I have my call logs that shows I was on the phone with them for over an hour each time. How do I dispute their claims and get a refund? We moved in November and have not used the service since then but am still paying for it. Please help!

You need to call and say ‘cancel’ to the robot to be sent to the loyalty/retention department. What exactly were you charged $250 for? An early termination fee is $20 for every month still on the contract so this wouldn’t add up to $250. If an agent resists, you then keep trying. If no success, try a BBB complaint.
