Can someone assure me that I will not be charged anything if installation of satellite services fails?

I tried to set up services through DTV and the installer could not complete the job. Is there any chance I am charged in this situation (monthly, equipment, early termination fees)? The account info tells me I still have $ due coming up, but I don't know it that's accurate or not. Customer service isn't too helpful - they told me I had cancelled...maybe...I have no evidence of this fact though so I am not really sure.

Thanks

You should not be. The installer should have noted that no installation was possible and you won't be charged anything.

Why couldn't the installer complete the job?

@litzdog911 Thanks I hope not. They didn't have a tall enough ladder for the house, the siding material on the house wasn't something they wanted to drill into, they didn't have pole clamps on hand, etc.

Call directv and cancel the actual order,  tech on site can not cancel the sales order only the work order.
