Add peacock as add on
Unable to add add ons to my account, not an option. Cannot add anything , customer service said to wait until next day and maybe it will be available. It’s not.

Peacock is a separate streaming service. It's not available as an add-on to DirecTV Satellite services.

Yes, it’s not a service.
Received a promo email from DirectTV to add Peacock for $2.99/M. Followed process to add which isn’t an option .
if I wanted to add HBO, etc I am not able as there is not an add on option. Spent 3 hours on the phone yesterday- nothing accomplished other than wait to see if problem resolved itself- which it hasn’t.

You sure the email was from Directv? Again, Peacock is a streaming service. I get similar emails too but directly from Peacock. Are you a Directv Satellite or Directv Stream customer? I suppose it might be possible to get Peacock through Directv Stream but this is the satellite forum.

The email is a promo from DirectTV. DirectTV will bill for service, Peacock sends secondary access email for app.
It’s a legit Promo as I spent hours on the phone with DirectTV.
The issue is my on line account (where you see your billing, change plans, etc) is not displaying add ons . This is the area you would go to when you want to add addtl services.
I need tech support for on line accounts

AT&T sold off 30% of DTV and the new company is moving the website and billing to them and it is not going to well.

Again, are you a Directv satellite or Directv Stream customer? I find it hard to believe Directv satellite would have such a promotion since they don’t do anything like that for any other streaming service. If it really is from Directv satellite, I think you are just asking for trouble adding a streaming service through your Directv bill. I know you can get that $2.99 promotion directly from Peacock.

I’m a DirectTV satellite customer and simply responded to a DirectTV promo email. It’s a legit promo and DIRECTV has the process to add the promo billing. Problem is I have to add to the account, customer service cannot from their end. My online account is the problem- no longer allows for add on’s of any kind.
A previous post said the billing and accts are a mess since AT&T pulled away. The DirectTV customer service rep said the same thing.
I’m on autopay so I never sign into my account. I’ve recently signed in and can view the mess.

I fixed the problem. I have xfinity for internet. They offer a free box.
The box allows you to have Peacock Premium and NBC Universal free. I’m going this route. FREE.
