14-718 Error after Receiver Reboot
My receiver told me to reboot when starting up then I get the 14-718 error message. I am mostly deaf and cannot go through phone customer assistance

Error code 14 means the hard drive is failing/failed, you need to call DTV to replace it. DTV has a TTY number or maybe chat if it is available but it is known to be unreliable. You could try adding someone to your account to speak for you.
