Is the WiFi symbol flashing on the TV or on the DIRECTV box? Your WiFi has nothing to do with DIRECTV, so likely an issue between the connection between the TV/device and the router.

It is the windshield wiper looking Symbol and the top left corner of the TV next to the time. But today it is solid, so something was wrong with the TV or internet connection. The tv remote was not responding quickly to the remote but is fine today.
