Why does it appear I'm being charged for DVRing Young Sheldon on QVTV?

I programmed the DVR to record Young Sheldon which we thought was only available on TBS. When I went to watch the recorded episodes, found about half of the episodes were recorded on TBS and the remainder on QVTV.  I had no idea Young Sheldon was available on QVTV.  When I looked at the recorded episodes on QVTV, there is a notice that each episode required a purchase of $2.99

I spoke with a CSR at Direct TV and she sId there were no charges were showing, but I will never watch or pay for anything on QVTV!

I quit programming any TV series  that might be available on QVTV

Also, while the female CSR was sweet, I could barely understand her. Like a similar post, she didn't understand the programming issue.

When you schedule something to record through the search function, it often will set the series for any channel it is on. This is something I wish they will reprogram to just channels you get and can opt out of PPV episodes (some networks add additional PPV content in their On Demand library, to milk binge watchers I guess).

To solve this, setup the recording manually through the guide itself. Select an episode on TBS and press Record (once will just be that episode, twice will be the series on that channel per your record settings).

Thanks for your question, @Karla_51. 20 hours of Cloud DVR storage are allowed a maximum of 10 episodes per TV series while Unlimited Cloud DVR storage are allowed a maximum of 30 episodes per TV series.  To learn more, visit Record and watch with cloud DVR | DIRECTV Customer Service & Support.
