When will I get my missing local channels 8 and 23 back?

I want my local channel 8 and 23 back. All those affected have nothing to do with the fact that att/directtv cant reach an agreement with circle city broadcasting. Both of you are punishing the viewers but you are still gladly taking my money for these channels. I am getting everyone I know to start calling and messaging both you and the broadcasting company until this is fixed.

Circle City removed their feed and only they can return it. The TOS has a clause that states channels and programing are subject to change at anytime.

But the response from the broadcasting company is that it is att/directtv trying to get the channel for free or almost nothing. The owners quote to me was "I'm just trying to get my fair shake". It is both fault, att/directtv for not negotiating quickly and the broadcasting company for most likely being to greedy. I know the broadcasting company is the one with the power to give it back but it is both sides not coming to an agreement to allow this to happen

Circle City can return the feed at anytime while they continue to talk.

Which is why I'm emailing them daily too. I will continue to email or message both until it is fixed.

Just received another email from the broadcasting company that Directtv is trying to get these channels for free and are not communicating with them at all and that he may have to file suit. Ofcourse I can find no way to forward the email chain to directtv so using this for and answer to this claim from directtv

This is a customer to customer forum. You won’t get an answer from ATT or Directv here on that claim. Every broadcaster that pulls their channels makes similar claims. If Directv did respond, they would probably say Circle City wants to raise their rates.

I'm not trying to be a go between I'm making my frustrations known and will continue to do so. I understand how negotiations work and I understand the broadcasting company has the power to put the channel back on. Also as far as using an antenna to get these channels, that is not an option for me in my area, signal is terrible and nothing comes in. The point to posting this is to show everyone on both sides that each side is putting the blame solely on the other party and getting people to take sides while it is actually both sides fault and they are hurting the customers who like myself are still paying for channels I cant use.

facts are that retrans fees are out of control

stand with directv/comcast/ect and make thse stations see thier greed

The owner of the channels is adamant that ATT is trying to get the channels for free and even did an interview that was aired on channel 23 which I cant get so I viewed it in fb, claiming this. I have actually been able to get the owner to respond to emails and he is still claiming that he wouldn't go public and lie about them wanting it for free as that would be liable and unethical and he could be sued. I dont really think either party is going to give the honest truth. Thank you for your response. Bottom line is we the customers are the ones paying for this crap and these companies need to realize that if we ever all banded together and quite paying for their products they would be screwed so they really need to get this figured out.

I am tired of missing my local channels.  If things dont change I will be forced to go elsewhere for my needs.  This is at least the 2nd time in a year we have lost local Channel 8.

Fix this mess!!!!!!

@bkissel use an antenna that's the only way to guarantee you'll never lose locals regardless of what pay TV provider you have
