Which CBS station is this? In other words, what market are you in? Are you not able to see CBS in the Guide or do you receive any error code/notice when you tune in?

If your local CBS affiliate removed their feed to DTV over a contract dispute then whenever they decide to renew the contract or they can return it as a sign of good faith.

It is a contract dispute, it’s been out since Oct! Just getting really old!

Your question cannot be answered until it happens.

Can't put a guaranteed date/time on when two parties will agree. We don't have the power to see the future.

It is old that local channel owners are more often pulling the feed to demand higher rates. Since they are still free over the regular airways just use a regular antenna in the meantime. That or find another channel to watch out of the many you have.

CBS has been out for 2 months.  This is not acceptable.  Direct tv is expensive an can't get this corrected.  Am now going to change.  It should not take this long.  Don't believe they are trying to get this corrected

This is ridiculous.  Cbs has been out 2 months. They should not take this long.  Direct tv isnt trying to get this done.  I am going to switch service.  There's always a problem with something. Not worth what we pay

DirecTV absolutely is trying to get this done. Don't confuse reality for you being upset it isn't done when you want it to be.

No TV provider can force the channel owner to return. It is a negotiation between both of them. DirecTV like other TV providers is trying to minimize any price increases from the channel owner. Problem is local affiliate owners (Nexstar, Mission, Tegna, etc.) are demanding more and more cost. And when TV provider's operating costs go up so do our bills.

The only way DirecTV could resolve that sooner is just give in to the price hike and jack up our bills that much more. You might be ok with that but I am not. And be aware that switching providers does not save you as they all go through this and it is just getting worse with local affiliates.

Plug in a regular antenna or watch something else. Pay TV should be about all the channels we cannot get free over-the-air (OTA).
