what is the blue triangle with the exclamation point

OK, after a recording has "sat" for a while in my recorded programs list, I get a blue triangle with an exclamation mark in it.

I used to see this when something was about to be deleted, BUT! I have several of these programs showing this indication AND they are marked to keep until hard drive full AND I'm only using 34% of my hard drive.

So what's up?

Greg, we know the importance of the recordings to our customers and apologize for any inconvenience in playing them. We'll send you a Private Note to gather more information about the sign displayed and investigate what happened. Santiago, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Why would this need to be private?

I'm the only person in your 1.4 million members that sees this?

Please reply to the forum, below is all the information you need.

We'd be delighted to assist you, but we'll need additional information to do so. Let's continue the assistance over the private message so that we can identify the root cause of the problem and proceed from there. Sebastian, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Yeah on my old system, it meant that it was in danger of being deleted.

With 35% disk used, seems a premature warning.

Just obnoxious... then I have to check to see if something it ACTUALLY wrong, which does not seem so in this case.

I did respond on the DM, but why is EVERY question asking to do a DM?

I normally go to the list of recordings, but I went to the recordings menu and noticed that icon in the "last chance" menu.

After recently setting to record any movie meeting "christmas" my free space went quickly to 6% left (from 35%)... so now a number of recordings have that icon, and I see that in this case I needed to set the keep option to "not delete" until I manually delete it.

I'll watch to see if this is the usage. I also found a partial recording with the icon too, so perhaps it means multiple things... (not great).

So, it may be used for a general "warning" that something may be wrong, even these 2 unrelated items (note: poor design).
