watching a recorded game
I am not a customer yet, and would like to know...if I wanted to get through a game fast and FF at the
first speed above normal, would I be able to watch clearly (smoothly) what was going on (just a little faster)
or would the picture be "herky jerky" and pretty much unwatchable?

Best to do the free trial and make the decision for yourself on the performance. You have nothing to lose.

Not aware of any free trial..If I went to an AT&T store, they only can only demonstrate
streaming. I'm only interested in satellite from which I can make recordings to a hard drive.

See above..I have NO interest in streaming. Hoping someone with satellite who records sports can help me.

While it is clear it is like frame by frame.
DTV sat doesn't have free trials.
