TV guide for DirectTV?

Does DirectTV offer a monthly magazine showing all movies and schedules for the month? DISH offers the ON Magazine, basically a monthly TV Guide.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I understand those limitations, but I like the convenience of being able to look weeks ahead and see the listings and schedule. The OnDish magazine from Dish Network also gives a capsule summary of every movie on that month with their dates and times of showing. It lists sports and specials, too. This helps me plan what I want to watch. While there are some changes each month, it is quite accurate. Think of it as the TV grid that appears in most newspapers daily, but much more comprehensive. I am considering change from Dish to DirectTV and this is a factor to consider.

Since you are an employee, I’ll ask you directly. Does DirecTV offer a printed, hold-in-your-hands magazine-style TV guide? The one I get with Dish is published monthly, as I noted in earlier post.

No. And Juniper is not an employee. This is a customer-to-customer forum.

Hey @Psmjr , here to help.

Let us share that the best option available is the DIRECTV Guide . There you can check the current programming and also the channels included in your package.

Thank you, Teetertotter, but no, the OnDish magazine is not free. It is 5.99/month, billed directly by Dish on my monthly statement. It is specific to Dish programming and channel lineups. It is very helpful in seeing a comprehensive list of all movies showing that month, plus the daily “grid” view of all that day’s programming. To me, it is sooooo much easier than scrolling aimlessly through an onscreen guide to see what is on each channel.

Direct needs to have an online TV guide that lets us know what movies will be airing each month.

It's too tedious to have to type in the actors names each month, and then have only two weeks of menu to scroll through to the right. That is so absurd! DIRECT TV, needs to start listening to it's long, paying customers or lose them all.

DIRECT TV s movies in bchange every month so they're never the same. It's so obnoxious to have people pay for a few measley channels and not have a monthly TV guide to refer to. The one they have isn't good enough.

Technology today is far more improved than this. We should be able to see which movies will be on next month by at least having something to view the month before via

a website, the US Mail, a text or an  email.

I'm sure DIRECT TV can afford to hire someone to type up a monthly movie guide on an advanced monthly basis. If not, hire me, I'll be more than happy to do it; because, their present method just isn't working! It just isn't good enough.

Enough already, we've had it this way for too long and DIRECT TV, Needs to be accommodating us all by now. For Pete's sake!

It just isn't good enough DIRECT TV! It just isn't.

Please change this.

DTV like most TV providers buy the guide data from a third party company.
