Trouble linking MLB.TV and MLB Extra Innings accounts

For the last couple of years, we've been getting MLB.TV through our DIRECTV subscription to MLB Extra Innings. It was working in the first couple days of the MLB season, but now I've been getting this screen. 

I have tried logging in an connecting each account on different web browsers and different devices, I've tried doing this on our home Wi-Fi and through hosting a Wi-Fi hotspot on my iPhone, I've tried clearing browser history, caches, and cookies, and none of these things have worked. We do not have IBM, so I don't understand why it's asking me to call our IBM representative. called customer support for both DIRECTV/AT&T and MLB.com, but neither showed to understand what the issue is. I've tried Google searching these terms to see if other people have experienced this issue, but to no avail. It's frustrating enough to deal with issues that have no clear answer, and it's even worse when customer service agents have zero clue how to deal with issues like this on top of that.

Hi, thanks for letting us know that you have tried different troubleshooting steps, like clearing history and cache and using a hotspot, to resolve this issue, but it is still happening. MLB Extra Innings should be working with MLB.TV for all of our subscribers that have the package. Please check your DM, we just sent you a message to go further and resolve this issue.

I am having this same exact issue and error when trying to authenticate mlb.tv.  What is the work around.  I cannot access mlb.tv bc the Directv side is not allowing me to do so.

I'm having same issue where I can't watch games after a week as DirecTV keeps Unlinking my account on mlb.tv!  MLB blames DirecTV and now DirecTV says it's MLB's problem.  Anyone else have this too??

NO GUYS... It's MY problem! . . . and I'm gonna to solve it by CANCELLING if you guys don't get this solved (I've had a case open for a week and NO reply!)

I am a customer and am having the same problem as reported above.  Maybe YOU should be more worried about (or pay more attention to),  solving THIS problem than warning customers about your "Rules".  Just a thought.  ☹️

Customers on this forum can't fix DTV problems only DTV can.

If DTV could "fix DTV problem" then I wouldn't have posted my problem.  I have found customers on this forum provide feedback to other customers which unfortunately DTV does not know or have.
