The Herd Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 Error Recording
Hello. The Herd that airs on Fox Sports 1 channel 219 Mon-Fri 12pm to 3pm has been not recording lately. Normally the program airs on FS1 channel 219. Sometimes it will start off on FS2 channel 618 due to other programs on FS1 but my HR44 even though it is set to record on both channels 219 and 618 record all episdoes in my recording manager for some reason the program will not be recognized as a new episode on FS2 and the program will not record. Today the show started on FS@2 and recorded from 12-1pm. The Herd the resume on FS1 at 2pm but the program that started at 2pm on FS! did not record and the recording manager says the episode was cancelled because the same program was already in your playlist at the time of broadcast (47)
Direct TV can you look into this since the Program goes from FS1 to FS2 on some days. It will not record on both channels even though it is set up to record all episodes and keep all episode and keep until disk is full on both FS1 and FS2.

Hello. Our team has gotten back to us, and they're recommending manual recording. The provider can move the content from one channel to another in the same manner ESPN can move a game from one channel to another. Let us know if the issue persists. Veilka, DIRECTV Community Specialist

You may have set up manual recording on both channels for that time period.

The program showed up set to record on both channels but when the program started on one channel FS2 to finish on FS1 it did not record on FS1 even though it showed up set to record in upcoming recordings.

@DIRECTVhelp Monday Night Raw recorded normally this week but this is about The Herd that airs on FS1 12pm to 3pm eastern standard time and sometimes airs on FS2. So this is a different program that also gets split on two different channels on the same day but does not record properly.

Manual recording doesn't care what the guide says or if the program is on 2 channels. DTV receivers will never automatically record the same sat channel program it recorded within 28 days.
