Tegna - Directv dispute

We no more switch to DirecTV Streaming, then they get into a stalemate with Tegna. Theoretically we are getting a one-time $10 credit (that has never showed up). Now we haven't had NBC for 2 months & the new season is starting!!! 

We knowingly paid more to go with DirecTV over Hulu or YouTube because we preferred the interface. Its not that much better that we wont switch. 

Has anyone had success cancelling DirecTV without fee or hard-sell due to this Switch & Bait??
