STREAMING

I see some people are not receiving some channels a town over from me in Elk Grove CA.  My problem seems to be some channels I cannot get without streaming and others are ok.  And the ones that stream says you cannot record or move forward/backwards.  Any answers DTV or just another AT&T communication strike.  New balloon over west coast maybe doing a lil more than checking the weather haa.  I'm sure my restricted service will be reflected with a credit on my next bill.

It is a nationwide outage, so no one is able to get a signal on the 99 west satellite. According to directv, there was an alignment issue or something like this so it is on their end to fix the issue. Until then, you have to stream the channels you cannot watch on your receiver. Also, if you have a Genie, use the SignalSaver feature to receive the channels you cannot get over your WiFi connection.

Yea thats what the genie does automatically. Mmmm Galaxy 16 showing fine on C/Ku band satellite.  Why would as DTV states "affect only some customers" if it was an alignment problem?

@MRREDOC

Galaxy 16 is a different satellite. The one in question is D11 at 99°W.
