Streaming dvr recorded shows from app

Attempting to watch recorded shows from my app while laying in bed and not working. My recorded shows are not available to watch from app while I’m in my house.  I’m the only device trying to stream.

says I have to “watch from my dvr tv and hope I understand” …. I don’t understand though.

please assist.
