Hello,
I wanted to watch the dodgers game against the angels this weekend on channel 690 sportsnet la. I have been watching channel 690 sportsnet la for the past couple of years to keep up with the dodgers and keeping up with the payment for it.
I remember watching the dodgers game on 690 Thursday 7/6 and for some odd reason Friday and Saturdays game just so happen to not work for me. I tried resetting the box and did not work.
I get a message on the tv saying I was not subscribed which confused me. I called friday and Saturday just for two different people to say they can’t do anything about it on their end. After talking to the customer service on saturday, I was promised it would be up and running on my tv Saturday night after the game and that channel 690 will be available once the series ends between the dodgers and angels because the people who tried to help me out said it was either a dodgers issue, blackout, or mlb subscription issue and that I did not have that. Now it’s Monday 7/10 and channel 690 is still not working on my tv
Now channel 690 has been working on my tablet though, what is the reason my tv can’t get it?

Fresno, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Louis Obispo, Santana Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura.

I’m just so confused
when I watch channel 690 on my tablet it shows the channel and the program it’s showing
but when I watch it on my tv it says I don’t have the channel though :(

They are now on the All Star break. The 7/14 game is on AppleTV and the 7/15 game is on Fox. There was no blackout as I watched the Dodger/Angels games on Fri/Sat. Not getting 690 is an account problem that only DTV can fix. Have you tried logging into your account and refreshing your authorizations?

I’ve called 3 times already. No help.
the DIRECTV agents seem stumped when I explain my situation…
Resetting and refreshing the receiver. No help.
I have been watching 690 all year and don’t understand this problem at all.
To me it still doesn’t make sense I can watch it on my phone and tablet but not the tv.
channel 691 still works on my tv…

The agent I talked to on Saturday PROMISED ME that the channel would be up and running by the next day.
Two days later still not working on the tv …

I was watching 690 on my TV so there is no broadcasting problems, so it saying you are not subscribed which seems to be part of the problem as you can't subscribe to it as it is provided to anyone in the Choice and above channel packs in the Dodger market. It is a problem with your account.

I am subscribed and have the choice pack… so I should get the RSN.
Very odd for the channel to stop working mid billing period.
They will let me know within the next 72 hours via email.

This the first time I've seen this kind of problem where you are getting almost all your authorized RSN channels except for 690 this has to be something not marked correctly in your account and I don't think that front line CSRs can fix it so hopefully you can get a supervisor or try saying cancel to the bot to get to a more experienced CSR or DTVhelp.
