Splitting the Gemini Air

I have 2 TVs next to each other (back-to-back)and bought a splitter so I can see the same show in both the living room and kitchen.  However, when I plug the Gemini into the splitter, the TV no longer recognizes the HDMI connection from the splitter.  Any thoughts?

What HDMI splitter do you have?  It must be a powered splitter that supports HDCP copy protection.

AFAIK the Gemini Air plugs into an HDMI port so you may need an HDMI coupler.

That doesn't say anything about being HDCP compatible.

Right, I don't see "HDCP copy protection support" mentioned on that device.

So this one should work?

That looks like it should work.
