Service Interuption

I updated my internet to fiber optics recently. Do I need to update directv to stop screen freeze up or broken record repeat at times or screen going black. This happens for longer than 30 seconds in all cases. I have 2 tv on all the time and this has happened  on both tv at same time.

DirecTV's equipment doesn't change based on what internet you have.

What are the models of your boxes?

Are those 2 TVs all you have on the service?

How are you connected to internet (direct Ethernet, WiFi, something in between)

Are you only having the problem with On Demand or satellite channels as well?

What troubleshooting have you tried already?

Did anything else happen recently other than changing internet?

DTV sat service doesn't need an internet connection to work, you will lose On Demand start from the beginning and the new signal saver mode and paying for PPV with the remote.
