Satellite - streaming channels available changed recently?

I am a long time satellite customer, but have been using the app on my FireTV mainly for watching and up until a week or so ago, it had essentially all of the same channels as when using the mini.  Now, the channels in the app on the guide are extremely limited - and the ones I used to watch regularly say "not available to stream on this device".  Nothing has changed on my setup - trying to understand what happened as I was told I could use the app instead of mini boxes if I desired...?  Any help is appreciated!

What streaming package do you have?

What channels are you missing from that package?

To be clear, I have satellite service and use the DIRECTV app sometimes on my fire tv stick and also iPhone. Up until now, using the app has been essentially the same as far as channel access as if I was using the satellite box. We noticed a bunch of channels around the 300s like 360 don’t come up as options anymore in the app guide.

Right. Not all of the satellite channels are available for streaming. If that's your primary access, consider switching to DirecTV Stream service.

Completely understand - my issue is more that a few weeks ago, the channels available for streaming on the app were pretty much every channel I had on satellite - now there is a significantly less amount.  Just trying to figure out what, if anything, changed.

I've done all the typical troubleshooting - uninstalled/reinstalled, etc.  even reset my HS-17 on my home wifi network.  No changes.
