Satellite: Playing all recordings from satellite DVR on the DirecTV app-- ever going to happen?
Do we see the ability to play recordings from Satellite DVR when using the directv app ever coming?
Is the fact that you can't do it now more of a technical issue, or more a means to push people away from the satellite service to their stream products?

1. Being we are customers like you, we have little proof to support such a theory. However, directvhelp(worker/employee on the forum) claims a future with such a feature.
2. It could have been a way to push people toward streaming, but also perhaps a bug when directv first initiated their new app to combine both satellite and stream customers into one app.
