Request to DirecTV to keep KSDK/NBC

Please reach an agreement to keep KSDK/NBC on your lineup.  I've had DirecTV for 23 years and I will be tempted to change if I can't get KSDK Channel 5, St. Louis an affiliate of NBC.  Favorite shows they broadcast:  The Voice, Chicago Med/Fire/PD, local St. Louis News, Nightly News with Lester Holt, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Late with Seth Meyers, Transplant.  Thank you.

Your local station is asking for more money then DTV wants to pay and it will be your station that will remove their feed if they don't get it.  All TV providers have this problem so changing providers will not help.

@sandyellis0050 I live in the same market. This happens with every channel on every tv provider at some time or other. I’ve been with Directv 20 years and channel 5 has never actually been pulled from Directv. They so far have always come to an agreement. I know that has not been true for charter or dish. Both have lost local St Louis stations for awhile.

I will switch from At&T and Direct Tv if you do not carry channel 5 KSDK! I watch channel 5 for news and shows like the voice and Sunday night football! You interrupted the Voice tonight and I am extremely disappointed and not happy!

DTV has no control over a channels programing so channel 5 KSDK interrupted it.

I have been an NBC fan for 65 years and The latest cancelling of NBC channel 12 in Phx has caused me to seek another service.    Entertainment Shows are one thing-expert news programs like The Today Show, local 12 news, and Meet the Press (the longest running news program in history) puts this into another category of "Must See TV". Especially during the current political and Covid climate-we need these programs.

Yes I did signup for a 20 dollar credit which is a good start.  However when this happened to me in Wisconsin some 7 years ago, Time Warner (now Spectrum) gave me a $250 dollar credit-Gentleman and Ladies Please-"Get 'er done!

Hope Direct will reimburse me , this has gone on for a week, I am a paying customer and not receiving all the services I have pd. for.  Direct tv's answer to this dilemma that  lines their pockets is to advise the public to get involved. Really? If i cant have what i pay for reimburse me. This is a management issue.

This is not the first time at@t screwed us. I will definitely be streaming and picking up free tv. They always blame the owned networks. They can buck up, they can afford it.  The board members may not like it. We will be changing our wireless and internet to other providers also. Screw at@t!

So are you going to move again when your new provider has the same problem?

Get it done with TEGNA NOW! We have been without ABC for 2 weeks & I watch numerous shows on this channel. I am disabled & am paying a ridiculous amount of my fixed income for this service. Fix it or refund my $$$!!!!

Tell Tegna to allow DirecTV to deliver your FREE over-the-air station while negotiations continue. See the truth about rebroadcast negotiations here .... https://youtu.be/rppTzSP5NI4

So you want DTV to cave in and pay Tenga what they want then they will pass the extra cost onto your bill? Either way your bill will go up how much depends on the deal they reach.

I realized TEGNA is the problem so I bought a good antenna to install on the roof and now I flip the source/input to TV when I want to watch NBC via KDSK Channel 5 St. Louis.  I like Directv too much to switch.  Hopefully, they will come to an agreement.  Dish is  not broadcasting St. Louis channels for ABC, PBS, and CW according to my relatives.

@sandyellis0050 I live in the St Louis market and I do the same thing. The only real impact is not being able to DVR channel 5 programs and skip through commercials.

DTV is now offering a $20 bill credit.  Log in to your DTV (ATT) account.  You should get a prompt to accept the $20 bill credit.
