Replay button jumping too far back

Since the last update, when the replay button is pressed quickly several times, instead of jumping back 6 seconds per press, it jumps back to the last tick mark. This occurs with both recordings and live TV. I believe this is the only button with an issue. 

I’ve contacted DirecTV several times. They replaced the Genie Mini and the triangle tower-shaped device, but neither fixed the issue. As a bonus, I lost all my recordings and settings. The remote is an RC73, and I’ve tried three different remotes—all with the same problem. 

Additionally, after navigating back to where I was, I often experience pixelation and audio problems for a few seconds.

I have the exact same issues!!  When DirecTV was in "talks" with Disney and ESPN was blacked out, I bought the YouTubeTV trial run and was very pleased.  Because of all the issues with DirecTV including, but not limited to, the remotes not working the way they used to, my husband and I will probably cancel DirecTV and subscribe to YouTubeTV.  This is quite unfortunate as we have been DirecTV subscribers for over twenty years, but ESPN being unavailable to us (a sports household), was too much to tolerate.  Big deal, we got a $20 credit but we paid $63 for the YouTubeTV trial.

If that happens, we will most likely find a subscription that offers ESPN.  It's just not the sports issue, it's also the issue of the remotes not working correctly after updates and the cost keeps going up.  Once we switch to YouTube, we will save about $100/month.  Additionally, when we are traveling, I can take my Fire Stick along and watch what I want to watch while staying at hotels.  Friends of ours told us of the nightmares they had with DirecTV streaming, so that's not an option.

I did reset the receiver.  It says Client Software 0x1b1c.

I’ve reset everything several times and, if you look at my original post, DIRECTV replaced both of my units (mini genie and the Gemini- the tall triangular one)

software is Ox1b1c

is this the follow-up I’ve been waiting for?
