Please give us the option to edit this terrible new menu or get rid of it!

The new menu format is AWFUL.  Why are we now forced to have garbage in our home menu that some will never, ever use?  WE will NEVER watch Sports Central, but have to see it in high and prominent in the menu now.  We NEVER rent movies on DirecTV, but now it's slammed into the home menu, and so on.  Please give us the flexibility to set the menus up the way we choose.

For those who have a DVR for a reason - recording shows - we now have to scroll through 15 tiles or more to get to the playlist?  Shame on whomever did this new UI with zero actual customer input - terrible experience that is 10x more cumbersome and painful than it should be!

Complete and total agreement, this new UI is a terrible change.  Please at least let us disable it.  I have ZERO interest in DirecTV trying to personalize my feed or Aggregate Individual Media  Streams for me.

I absolutely hate the new setup when trying to look at programs that I have recorded and would like a way to change it so that it is essentially back to the way it was with a long list instead of having to scroll sideways

This new menu is horrible and incomplete for us that use our DVR. Your new screens do not allow us to list what shows we have set to record and resolve conflicts when they occur. Deleting a recorded event now requires you to go to the entire end of what you've recorded before you can delete it. With the old menu, we could delete it right off the bat of whatever reason. There are so many things you've left out, all while forcing us to accept your silly useless menu.

Please give us the old menu or all everything with the new menu.

Also, who's stupid idea was it to change in on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. Didn't want to hear the phone ring off the hook.

Maybe I’m missing something but I always click on the List button to bring up my recorded shows and it hasn’t changed. Also, the Recording Manager is on the top right of the list. I can delete shows in the List without watching them too.

I never used the Menu section, so maybe that’s where the disappointment lies.

@rre   is your TV support that high?   I have no issue w/the higher resolution after menu update.  my TV is a QLED.

The new menu is disgraceful!  It is awful, cumbersome and confusing.  I cannot get to my recordings.  First all Disney stations are gone including my local station ABC.  Now I can’t get to my recordings.  I have been a directv subscriber since 1995 and am going to XFINITY!  This is the worst menu I have ever seen.  You have no consideration for your customers.

GOOD BYE!

Eighty year old mom just out of the hospital and bedridden is frustrated as all get out over menu change and the inability to navigate to her shows. Great job directv keeping your senior customers in mind when changing formats…. You know… those older folks that don’t often see well, aren’t always tech-savvy, and don’t adapt to change well…. Offer the option to keep the old stuff please.

When I push my list button, to see previously recorded programs I get a runaround mess. If I have multiple episodes of a certain title, I can only access whichever one they why me to see. This is insane. I use my DVR often. Give us back user friendly menus - not what's best for people in a think tank office. Some of us long time users are going to go away if we can't maneuver easy. FIX THIS or AT LEAST GIVE US THE OPTION TO REVERT BACK TO THE OLD USER INTERFACE

Exactly my thoughts.  Why are we paying so much to have our service downgraded to making it harder to see the Guide and Playlist and search for shows we never had to look for before? Give us a choice to keep our old format.  The new one in not intuitive At All...!
