Pay for recorded shows

I set my TV to record the series Hawaii five o on ION.  It's on all day on Friday. Not on demand This station is in my package. When I start to watch the recordings I keep getting messages to pay!! Why?

Are you sure it recorded from the ION satellite channel and not a different OnDemand channel?

Check the details of the recording for the exact channel number. When you set a series to record through the search function, it tends to record every instance even from channels you do not get or from On Demand. And some channel's On Demand library includes PPVs as they are capitalizing on binge watches.

However, if it was recorded from the satellite channel and is absolutely in your package, then that would be an error with the recording. I would try a red button reset of your boxes, along with logging into your account to refresh service authorizations to each receiver. Might not fix what already recorded, but help avoid it happening again.
