ON DEMAND

My On Demand is not working, I have had numerous phone calls to Tech Support, been re-booted a couple of times, check wi fi (it's OK) and even had Mas Tech come to the house and installed all new upgraded equipment.  ON DEMAND STILL DOES NOT WORK - error message 927 - "it is unavailable at this time, but we are working on it"  It's been since May 30th!!!  I am not happy, anyone else have this problem?

I'm not a techy person. It was 2 little small genis, and a tower. Internet is thru Spectrum, modem is upstairs in office. That has been checked and we have good speed. We get other things streamed (Roku), no problem - it's just ON DEMAND. Mostly shows from CBS! I was wondering if Directv had a money problem with them and took them off of viewing?

It could be your local CBS affiliate is in a contract dispute, but that would only effect CBS On Demand and your CBS channel and it is the channel that removes their feed to DTV not DTV.  On Demand uses the internet so your routers antivirus or firewall maybe blocking it or the ports needed are not open.

Note: Every time you reboot or change out your GENIE --It will take 24 to 48 hours for the full 14day guide to update and for the VOD to fully download.

If using your remote Menu -Settings -Internet -Test --and it states your connected --just wait and see if populates --for 48 HRS 

D*TV Does NOT control any Channels VOD Server other than the FEW D*TV offers like VOD PAYPERVIEW -try a Movie channel if you have any for VOD rather than network channels --to test
