Narration suddenly comes on for Paramount Plus

For about the last week, When I go to Paramount Plus and select NCIS (which I've done for weeks), narration comes on. I go to HDMI1 for DirecTV ,go to CC, I find CC off, I turn it on, go out, go back in and move the dot to Off again, and return to P+, narration is off. This worked for a few days, but I tried it twice tonight and it stayed on.

Note: When I turn off DTV and just turn on the TV and go to P+, there is no narration.

When they send you a PM/DM a box with text in it appears at the top of this page near the bell icon. To send a PM to DTV you go to one of their social media sites.

DTV suggested starting with uninstalling and re-installing P+. While looking up how to do this, I found a video on Youtube that said to unplug the tv, wait 60 seconds, then plug back in. So far, so good.
