Music channels audio issues
I have DirecTV satellite.
About 3 weeks ago the music channels (800's) went bad. The audio quality on channels 832 & 836 specifically is terrible. It sounds like mono sound instead of stereo sound. The song title and artist not showing has been corrected, but the audio quality remains terrible.
I have found the channels sounding perfect at times but after being on the channels for a few minutes the audio quality drops back to mono.
When will this known issue be completely resolved?
Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
My Dolby sound setting is on.
I did a reset, then unplugged the receiver and tried again.
I don't want to restore to defaults and lose everything.
It's just the music channels audio that sounds bad. The "ultra" music channels and all other channels are fine.
About 2-3 weeks ago, a couple of days after the contract dispute with Disney over the ESPN channels began, the music channels stopped working and went to a blank colored screen. So, I shut it down and went to radio.
Next day my favorite music channels sounded bad and the screen banner which shows song title and artist said "technical issue" in their place, then later went to completely blank.
The screen banner is now back to working properly.
I chatted with DirecTV support about the audio issue. They were aware of the problem and working to resolve the issue.
So, I'm just letting y'all know the problem hasn't been fixed and was hoping to find out when the issue may be resolved.
Thanks again.

Two more days have passed, and my favorite music channels audio still sounds an old transistor radio playing loud on the other side of a wall.
Please get it fixed!!

Yeah, I don't see that icon. I'm using the web, not an app.
Why don't you just email me please?
Thanks

How are you listening to the Music Channels? TV only -Sound Bar -or are you connected to an AV receiver?
The music channels are fine on my end -They are Not in transmitted in Dolby -my AVR Displays Multicast at this time.
What receiver are you using? You may try Going into the menu and Disabling Dolby just to see if that would change anything.

Thanks for the reply.
Please read my posts to this thread.
All the other channels sound fine. It's just the music channels.
The other guy here from DirecTV says they have a problem.
