MAX

for days now I have to sign in to Max only to be kicked out and being asked by directv to connect to provider. I try both att and directv to no avail.

Found my answer.  I was selecting the wrong DirecTV service.  I'm a STREAM subscriber, but that option doesn't appear in the main list. 

I notice the DIRECTV STREAM TV provider doesn't show up on the list of providers to choose from unless you use the search bar. This helped my situation, as just clicking DIRECTV as the provider was causing what most are seeing.

I even try to choose DTV as provider and that doesn't work either.

Wonder my monthly bill still comes from ATT then for DTV services

If you have combined billing and AT&T is your IP then that doesn't change.

They are not. I have tmobile for IP

Same thing happening to me.  I called and was told that there is an outage with Max.  I can't find one thing anywhere that says there's an outage but that's what they told me.

There is no outage. MAX works perfectly for me on all my devices (Roku. Fire Sticks, PC, tablets, and phone). I have never had a problem using "DirecTV Stream" as my provider. I subscribe to MAX via my subscription service, "DirecTV Stream". Not sure why so many are having issues. There must be something unique in common with the subscribers having the issue that seems to not impact other subscribers.

When the TV provider selection screen comes up, use the search bar and type in directv to find DIRECTV STREAM. See if that works for you.

MAX app was working fine for me until last night on my Rokus. Now I'm having this same issue. But I can log in just fine on my iOS devices. Crazy.

I am having the same problem. I do not have DTV stream. Trying to select DTV and it is forcing me to set up a new MAX account (even though I’ve been using the app since it launched). When I follow the prompts on the screen it tells me I agree to a ”separate” subscription fee to get it to work. It’s already included in my prime subscription. No one from customer service has been able to assist. They say its a known problem with no eta.
