LG Soundbar makes my Directv audio/video freeze every couple of seconds.

TV - Vizio 75 inch Vizio mz5q6-l4 75

Soundbar - LG S80TR Blueberry 4k E-ARC cable to connect the two.

Directv Genie system.

Since hooking up my soundbar my Directv sound and audio cuts out/freezes ever couple of seconds. And it does it non stop. The only way to get Directv to work again is to switch the audio output to "TV speakers". I would say it is a bad/defective soundbar, but problem is, when I use anything else not Directv, the sound works amazing. No issues. We watch HBO Max/other apps on the same tv, same setup and no pauses/glitches. I feel like I am missing something on the Directv side, or setup, no idea. There are no similar issues. 

I called and the agent told me my signal was weak. Which is not the issue, as mentioned, when switched to tv speakers the Directv programming is seamless and not freezing. 

I have all the setting configured based on what the suggestions are.

E-ARC cable from TV into Soundbard.

HDMI cable from Directv receiver into tv (Only one port on the receiver).

Dolby SS is on in the Directv settings.

Any help is deeply appreciated!

Hello.

Thank you for this, unfortunately I do not believe it to be an issue with the satellite or the internet connection. Directv works absolutely fine without the soundbar component on. It is only when the soundbar is on and set to the right setting in the TV audio portion where it freezes. So I do believe there is a setup/configuration item I am missing to allow the soundbar to function properly with Directv and vice versa.
