Internet repeatedly disconnects.

Our internet connection keeps disconnecting from the DirectTV.

Your router/gateway is what gives DTV its connection to the internet and refreshes it regularly so something is happening to not allow it to reconnect,  Sometimes going into the router/gateway and setting a static address for the DTV receiver helps.

How is your DirecTV connected to your internet?

Is only one box serving as the connection for your entire setup?
