I need help installing the directv app on pc
i continuosly try to select the option to install, but the installation never initiates...I do not see a .exe file in my browsers downloads nor in my windows explorer downloads folder...it's extremely frustrating...I just want to be able to access the content I am paying for

There is no Directv app for a pc. Are you trying to watch Directv on your pc? If so, you are likely talking about the directv player. Don’t bother installing it since it requires flash which is soon to no longer work. That might be the reason it won’t install. Directv has not yet provided the replacement but it should be coming soon.

I am referring to the player...which is an application...semantics...
I couldn't install it if I wanted to...it's an endless loop of asking me to install it, hence my OP...so how about DirectTV pretend to be a decent developer and remove the option...if it's not possible...furthermore, how about they stop advertising the capability to stream live content.
