Going from streaming a Peacock movie back to my normal Directv satellite?

We watched a movie on Peacock and tried to go back to regular Directv satellite with the genie remote and everything had a deep red color. Should I have shut off the TV after streaming and then turned it back on for regular TV? Not sure if I need to shut something off on Peacock before returning to normal programming or not. I'm kind of hesitant to try it again for fear everything will be red again.

Are you using a streaming device and have to change the TVs input/source back and forth between DTV and Peacock?

I'm not using any other device except for my TV. I just turn it on with the TV remote and click the Peacock App. When the movie was over, we just started using the DTV genie remote. Should I have turned off the TV first with the TV remote and then turned it back on with the DTV Genie remote?

DTV remotes are only made to control the on/off and volume of a TV so maybe you need to use the TV remote,  maybe that is what you need to do.  This sounds more like a TV issue not DTV.
