Gemini - Voice Commands Not Working With SiriusXM App
Satellite customer here, with a new Gemini receiver that replaced a Genie 4K mini. All is working fine except that voice commands are not working properly with the SiriusXM app installed on the Gemini.
The SirusXM app was installed on the Gemini from the Google Play store. Google Assistant is enabled on the Gemini and I am signed on to my Google and SiriusXM accounts. Voice commands seem to be working OK on the Gemini itself, I can change channels, control volume, display the guide, etc, all with voice commands. I can start the SiriusXM app by saying "Open SiriusXM". Once in the SiriusXM app I can tune to any channel with the remote. But I am unable to tune to a specific SiriusXM channel with voice commands. For example, if I say "Play Watercolors on SirusXM" I get a popup message saying "OK, asking SiriusXM to play Watercolors" followed by another popup that says "You don't have an app that can do this".
I have another similar app installed on the Gemini, iHeart Radio, that is working fine with voice commands. That is, I can tune to a specific station by saying "Play <station call letters> on iHeart Radio". So the problem seems to be specific to the SiriusXM app or its implementation on the Gemini or Android TV. The SiriusXM app does support tuning with voice commands, I have it installed on an Android tablet and voice commands work fine there. SiriusXM support says that their app should work OK with voice commands on any any Google Assistant enabled platform including Android TV.
Any known problems related to the Gemini and SiriusXM? Or thoughts about where else I might look for a solution to this problem? Thanks.

Thanks for your question, @lurch177. Your Gemini voice remote control works with Google Assistance. In this case, you can try a different pronunciation of the SiriusXM app or use "App" after any command. Thank you for the response, Diego. Different pronunciations of SiriusXM or adding "App" to the voice command do not change Gemini's or the apps's behavior. I still get the popup saying "You don't have an app that can do this" when issuing a voice command to listen to a specific channel. I am using the voice remote as described in the support article. I should add that I uninstalled/reinstalled the SiriusXM app and that also did not change Gemini's behavior. I look forward to investigating this problem further.
