FF playback

HI,

I am considering switching from Xfinity.  This question concerns Satellite service only.

I record a lot of MLB games. I usually don't have time to watch a full 3 hour game, so I currently am  able

to go to the first FF speed on my xfinity remote ( between normal and 2x) and clearly watch every pitch on a full

screen-just slightly faster. As I understand it, you can't do this with the streaming service, as you only see a small box at the bottom.

But can I do a similar to xfinity FF viewing with Directv satellite and if so, is there a lower FF speed than 2x. I can usually watch a 3 hr

game this way in about 45 minutes and not miss anything. If I need sound, I can always stop and go back a bit. Thanks for any help on this.

Hi, @tbill1. We'd love to have you as our customer. Our platform is similar, you can skip ahead in recordings and modify playback speed to 1x, 2x, or 3x using our Genie receivers. Visit, Learn about DIRECTV DVR recordings | DIRECTV Support to learn more.
