DVR Recoding of FOX shows only do not record as expected.

I have been working this issue for more than 6 months. Itonly occurs on Fox Business and Fox News. I watch Morning with Maria that is a 3 hour show. I have to record it as 3 separate shows and after each hour manually start the next hour. A CNN show at the same time or MSNBC records as one show. I have the same recording issue with Fox and Friends on Sat and again on Sun. Just last week problems started with fox business show Kudlow. DTV records the 5 AM show as the first show and deletes the 4 PM show. I am patient will see if this fixes itself.

I have tried to work this issue with DTV and get the run around of reboot, restart etc. However I did find some support either from this forum or on facebook that this issue belongs to Fox ! The poster explained that Fox is responsible for how their programing is presented and not DTV. i have reported it numerous times to Fox and seems that it just falls on deaf ears. However today someone actually responded from Fox and said it is a DTV issue. i explained the above and that I felt it was a Fox issue and my issue should be escalated. So the purpose of this question is "Where can I find more information to have this problem addressed. I have been able to create work arounds that are inconvenient but these issues are only with Fox! What appears to me is someone is messing with Fox's programming, someone in their organization or someone at DTV just causing grieve that Fox is not aware of. Thanks for your input. Dave

Dave here. After posting this I found my request for info from October. Yes still having the same issue. I took some of the same feedback and pasted it in an E-mail back to Fox. Let's see what happens. I am in Central Florida, am I the only person seeing this issue?

Until Fox changes their guide data they send to the guide maker the DVR can only record it that way. You can set up a manual recording for those 3 hrs or pad the first recording to stop in 3 hrs.

We have Dish, but we're having the similar issues with Fox News, in particular, Special Report with Bret Bauer. The DVR recording of the 1 hour program takes 2 minutes to start playing, 2 minutes to skip 30 seconds forward and 2 minutes to skip back 10 seconds. This started around October 16 and it was BEFORE a software update. It doesn't occur with all Fox News programs. It doesn't affect recording CNN  or movies. A Dish technician replaced our DVR without any benefit. I am told that Dish's software engineers are working on it (that statement is not particularly reassuring). It seems logical to me that this is intentionally being caused by Fox News' satellite signal so as to make it more difficult to skip over advertisements.

Same issue with Spectrum.  Plus it randomly decides not to record scheduled Fox News/Business programs.
