DTV app won't open on tablets, error message "something gone wrong, check your connection"

App works on phones, won't open on iPad or galaxy tablet. Same error message on each. Have tried wifi and mobile data, uninstalling, reinstalling. Have checked for os updates on devices, restart devices, always same message.
