DirecTV not accessible from PC
Whenever I try to access DirecTV on my PC, I get the following error message:
"Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to www.directv.com."
It was working fine this past weekend when I watched several football games.
When I try to access www.directv.com., I get the same error message.
Has DirecTV gone kaput?: Do I need to change to cable TV or Sling or Hulu or something more reliable?
I am getting really fed up with DirecTV because of the difficulty in accessing programming through my PC and its internet connection.
My provider is DirecTV, but my internet access is through U-verse.

If the directv site is denying you, disable any ad-blockers, cookie blockers, and VPNs. If you have, attempt to use a different browser, or see if you can access the DIRECTV site on another device that is connected to the same network as your PC.

Thanks. I'll try all that. I checked cookie blockers, and they seemed okay, and turned off my VPN, but still can't sign on. I don't use ad blockers.
I was able to find a link that works when I'm using my Edge browser, and I was able to watch a volleyball game on the Longhorn Network, but the link doesn't work on my Firefox or Chrome browsers.
Yesterday, I tried system restore, which didn't change anything.
I've had nothing but problems with DirecTV when trying to access it on my PC. It's always just a matter of time before DirecTV starts screwing up again. When DirecTV is inaccessible, I've usually been able to get by their screw-ups on another browser. In the past, on a different PC, I also used the Maxthon browser. If accessing via Edge starts fouling up, I may get Maxthon again. I wish I had never left U-verse. I had absolutely no problems with U-verse access on my PC.
To be honest, I think these problems are probably caused by the browsers and not DirecTV, but I also think there probably is a lack of cooperation by DirecTV with the various browsers.
I'll give my laptop a try, but I sure don't want to have to watch TV on that puny screen.

Something must have updated on Firefox and Chrome, or maybe DirecTV. I am now able to access DirecTV on both Firefox and Chrome browsers, and select and watch channels. After over 36 hours of not being able to access DirecTV on those browsers, I now can. I had checked these browsers about 5:30 am, and still couldn't access DirecTV, but now I can.
Thanks to all three of you for your assistance. I sure didn't want to miss the Texas–Oklahoma game Saturday.

I cleared all cookies, cache, and local storage items from my browser. Apparently the "keep me logged in" option on the DirecTV web site is not compatible with some browsers, at least for more than a few weeks. I was able to log in again after clearing those items, most likely due to a bad cookie. The DirecTV web site also wouldn't let me use my account password, so I had to reset that, as well.
