DIRECTV keeps freezing constantly
We’ve had this problem for almost 3 years now. The screen will freeze and do so for 10-25 seconds maybe 30-40 times a day. We’ve had a tech come out and couldn’t figure it out! We have 3 wireless genie minis connected to the Genie 2 video bridge. We’ve even replaced all the Genie minis and Genie 2 with brand news ones a few months ago and still no fix! If anyone has any insight or fix for this I’ll be grateful. This is getting old and obnoxious.

Yes it does. We’ve had 3 TV’s since this has been happening. Also, it’s happening on all 3 Genie Minis through out the house. It’s almost as if the issue lies within the “wireless” portion of the Genie Mini and Genie 2. I wonder if it’s possible to connect the main genie mini via an ethernet cable to the Genie 2 and make it fully wired?

Do a site survey (there are apps for android phones) and look at the 5GHz spectrum and see if you have some other 5GHz interference.
As I understand it, the WVB in the Genie 2 server should be able to be "heard" by the Genie minis.... the fact you have 3 minis and 3 tv's really eliminates them as a problem unless all of them are too far away for the WVB.
You can go into the menu of the Minis and look at the signal strength from the video bridge in the mini. (showing the strength of the received signal)
Likewise you can go into the menu on the Genie 2 and look at signal strength (you can do this from any of the Minis).

You wold need to add coax and replace the mini clients unless you have the C71WK.

All of the signals on the Minis and Genie 2 look perfect. Anything else you might have me try? I’lol try anything at this point lol.
