Currently recording live sports auto-delete, poof, gone during the recording.
I set my Genie to record a Guardians MLB game, it starts recording, around 90 minutes after the start of the game I'll select the recording and start watching the game from the beginning. After about 60 minutes of watching 'all' recordings of the Guardians MLB games disappear, poof, gone. The currently being recorded game and all other previously recorded games are deleted. I don't keep more than four previous games. The Genie is set to keep no more than 10.
This disappearing act (auto-delete) only happens with sports recordings. This just started happening about two months ago.
Does anyone have any idea why it's doing this? My mini Genie is about five years old. I have one mini Genie, with one other wireless extended TV in another room.
Any guidance or help is much appreciated.

Hi, SkymanIX. We're sorry you're experiencing issues with your Genie receiver and that your recordings disappeared. Unfortunately, deleted or missed recordings cannot be recovered. There are a few reasons why this happens, this includes the following;
- A higher-priority recording prevented the title from being recorded.
- Someone else may have deleted the recording.
- The hard drive may be full.
Checking the receiver history and settings may help determine why or how the title was missed or deleted and help prevent it from happening in the future. Kindly check the DVR history from the receiver from which the title was recorded, and let us know if it says DELETED or CANCELLED.

The games are not available on RSN 600 channels. I'm paying for the MLB channels.

Thank you, I understand that. However I'm paying extra for the MLB channels, so why am I loosing recordings of games I'm paying for?

Let's work on the issue at hand together. As mentioned above, kindly check the DVR history from the receiver from which the title was recorded, and let us know if it says DELETED or CANCELLED and the NUMBER displayed in parentheses. Thank you.
