C-SPAN is available on the DirecTV iPhone app but is missing from the DirecTV iPad app

No matter whether I select "all channels" or just "streaming channels" on the DirecTV app guide, C-SPAN and C-SPAN2 (channels 350 and 351, which have always been part of my programming package) are missing from the channel listing on the iPad version of the DirecTV app. Yet they are available on the iPhone version of the same app. Why? Does DirecTV not want me to watch C-SPAN on a larger screen?

The app is fully updated, as is my iPad's operating system. Restarting the app and the iPad does not make the missing channels appear. Ditto for restarting the iPad. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app changed nothing.

No matter what I do, the channels jump from 349 to 353. And yet the same app on the iPhone shows 350 and 351 all the time, as it should.

So what else do you suggest?
